So, what is Brainshark?
 is a presentation hosting service that allows you to upload your PowerPoint presentation (or other documents, videos, photo albums, and podcasts), add audio with the mere use of your phone (slide-by-slide), share with your prospect pool (via the tool itself, or your own email system), and then track viewers (including contact information and viewer stats such as length of time and number of slides viewed).
So why is this the best sales tool…EVER?
Well, if it isn’t obvious already….it is because this tool allows you to create “lead magnets” with engaging presentations (product demos, how-to training, talking whitepapers, etc.), while generating information you need for when and how to follow up! Think about it…you now not only know if your prospect has received your email…but also when they’ve actually viewed the presentation…for how long they remained engaged…and on which slides. Plus, it is super easy to use. It’s just simply the PERFECT sales tool for both sales and marketing professionals.

Brainshark offers multiple levels, starting with their FREE myBrainshark option, which is a great way to get started. Currently, it does have two limitations we think you should know about—1) it doesn’t have all the cool tracking features we love so much (though it does have some summary reporting available) and 2) your presentations are made public on mybrainshark.com. Still, it IS free and it does allow you to work with all the other cool features of the tool. That said, we are told these features will be available for a low monthly fee in an upgrade version due out soon.
In the meantime, for a robust and private individual option, choose the Personal Edition. And companies that would like to centralize the use of the tool should look at the Multiple User Edition options.
